Two lucky punters walked away with a share of the Shabiki.com one million shilling jackpot at the end of the 2026 Patron’s Cup Golf Tournament, sponsored by Shabiki.com and Viutravel. The two punters were among many players who placed a one-thousand-shilling bet and predicted the outcome of 15 matches.
The two each predicted 13 scores out of the selected 15 matches and shared the jackpot, each walking away with 500,000 shillings. They got their reward during the prize-giving ceremony for the tournament at the Muthaiga Golf Club on Sunday night. The winners were also awarded their trophies, starting with hosts Muthaiga, who won the main trophy with 125.5 points, playing against Vetlab and Railways Golf Clubs. The shield went to Sigona Golf Club; Royal Nairobi won the plaque, while Windsor walked away with the bowl. The mug category was won by Ruiru Golf Club. Muthaiga has won the trophy five years in a row since it was started in 2022. The tournament is in honour of the late President Mwai Kibaki, who was the golf patron at Muthaiga Golf Club for many years.
