Donald Trump has defended recent US military strikes, saying the action was necessary to stop “very bad people” from acquiring nuclear weapons.
He claimed the US destroyed key military assets, including air defence systems, radar and leadership targets, adding the operation was “ahead of schedule” and unavoidable despite the human cost.
