West Pokot residents protest resurgence of banditry

Residents of Morita in West Pokot County have taken to the streets to protest what they termed a resurgence of banditry along the West Pokot-Turkana border. The protest was sparked by the deaths of seven people in bandit-related attacks. The residents are calling on the government to move with speed to tame insecurity and restore peace in the region.
