Call to prioritize sanitation especially in t informal settlements

An estimated five million Kenyans still practice open defecation, with only 29 percent having access to basic sanitation facilities. Nairobi River Commission Chair Margaret Wanjiru says, in a bid to address the challenge, the government is keen to upgrade sanitation facilities in informal settlements alongside the ongoing affordable housing projects countrywide.
