Iran yatekeleza programu ya anga za juu ambayo inakosolewa na nchi za Magharibi
Iran ilisema Ijumaa imefanya zoezi la mafanikio la kurusha chombo cha anga za juu, kwa ajili ya programu yake mpya ambayo nchi za Magharibi zinadai inaboresha programu ya Tehran ya makombora ya balistiki.
Iran ilifanya zoezi hilo la kurusha chombo hicho kwa kutumia programu ya Simorgh, chombo cha satellite kinachobeba roketi huku mara kadhaa urushaji huo ulifeli, katika kituo cha anga za juu cha Iran cha Imam Khomeini katika kijiji kwenye jimbo la Semnan.
Hili ni eneo la programu ya anga za juu kwa malengo ya kiraia ya Iran.
Hakuna uthibitisho huru wa hapohapo kuwa urushaji huo ulikuwa na mafanikio.
Jeshi la Marekani halikutoa maoni yoyote mara moja walipoombwa kufanya hivyo.
Tangazo hilo limekuja wakati mivutano imeongezeka katika eneo kubwa la Mashariki ya Kati juu ya vita vya Israel vinavyoendelea dhidi ya Hamas katika Ukanda wa Gaza na wakati sitisho la mapigano linalolegalega huko Lebanon.
Marekani siku za nyuma ilisema urushaji wa satellite unaofanywa na Iran unakwenda kinyume na azimio la Baraza la Usalama la Umoja wa Mataifa na kuitaka Tehran kutojihusisha na harakati zozote zinazohusisha makombora ya balisitiki ambayo yana uwezo wa kusafirisha silaha za nyuklia.
