Medical students from the Thika-based varsity competed in pitching innovative ideas that they think could revolutionise Medicine in Kenya. Winners took home various gifts, including cash prizes. The doctors in making also got an opportunity to interact with professionals in the industry. The competition, which is in its first year of inception, was organised by a pharmaceutical company, Dafra Pharma. The organisers announced plans to expand the competition to other medical schools in the country.
