A librarian couple in Nakuru county has demonstrated how instilling a reading culture is likely to impact children's education. Andrew Njuguna and Gladys Njoki, a married couple and librarians by profession have for the second time produced a top student in the national examinations, their daughter Margret Kimanga. The Nakuru girls high school student who was a top student in KCPE 2020 in her home county has yet again excelled in the 2024 KCSE examination where she got an A-, placing her among the top candidates in Nakuru girls high school. Their other daughter eva-lydia Kimanga is currently pursuing a biochemistry degree at the Technical University of Kenya.
