KAKAMEGA PARTNERS LWALA COMMUNITY ALLIANCEIMPROVE MATERNAL HEALTH T0 CONTROL POSTPARTUM HEMORRHAGE

Kakamega County government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) with Lwala Community Alliance to improve maternal health by reducing Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) which is considered among one of the leading killer of women in Kenya and globally. The Alliance is deploying use of a technology known as Non-Pneumatic Anti-Shock Garment (NASG) to control hemorrhage which accounts for more than 50 per cent of maternal mortality.
