Police destroy 3,000 litres of kangara in Kisumu crackdown

Police officers from the Chemelil Police Post in Kisumu County have destroyed thousands of litres of illicit brew and dismantled several Kangara distilling sites in a major crackdown. The operation, conducted on Sunday, October 26, 2025, was led by a multi-agency security team comprising police and National Government Administration Officers in Wagunga Village, Kamswa Sub-location, Nyagoma Location, within the Miwani Division of Muhoroni Sub-county.
