SUREILLANCE TO CURB EBOLA AND MARBURG VIRUS

The ministry of health has intensified surveillance and screening at all the 26 ports of entry into the country in the wake of discovery of Ebola and Marburg in the neighboring countries. Public health principal secretary Mary Muthoni has said that the screening and surveillance is also meant to contain the spread of M-Pox where so far 41 cases have been reported in the country.
