The Ministry of Health now says the mysterious ailment that has been spreading through parts of South Mugirango, Kisii county, was caused by the consumption of water contaminated by fecal matter. Health ps mary muthoni says that most of the water sources in the area have been contaminated in this manner. However, residents have disputed these preliminary findings.
