A recruitment drive at Kabete Polytechnic last year, organized by the National Employment Authority and the Ministry of Labour, has ended in heartbreak for many job seekers. Appearing before the Senate Labour Committee today, the victims revealed they paid KSh 15,000 for medical exams but, six months later, have received no job contracts or travel arrangements. The inquiry was prompted by a statement from Senator Gloria Orwoba.
