A section of Members of Parliament drawn from parts of Kerio Valley says they have no confidence in the Kenya Police Reservists operating in the region. Led by Tiaty MP William Kamket, the MPs are demanding the arrest of police reservists who killed a chief in Loruk, Baringo County. The lawmakers also want the Ministry of Interior to conduct an audit of government guns and bullets given to the police reservists who were recently recruited in Baringo North, alleging some government officers are involved in criminal activities.
