The High Court has declared a tender for the renovation of the Kenyatta Municipal Stadium and construction of spectator sheds in Trans Nzoia County in the FY2013/14 null and void. Delivering the Judgment, Justice Professor Nixon Sifuna noted that the whole process was full of fraud and procurement irregularities. And as Ruth Wamboi reports, the Judge has further ordered that the over 25 million shillings be refunded to the government by former county officials and the contractor involved.
