Members of the national assembly's internal security and administration committee have raised questions on the running of the e-citizen platform, saying sensitive government data could be lost if the system is switched off by private individuals whom they accuse of owning the system. The PS for immigration and citizen services, Belio Kipsang, however, dismissed the concerns, saying the government had reduced corruption through the collections from the platform.
