The judiciary has condemned senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi for attacks on judges using his social media platforms. Judiciary spokesperson Paul Ndemo is asking the director of public prosecutions and the Law Society of Kenya to take action against the advocate for making what he termed as unsubstantiated allegations against judicial officers. Ahmednasir, however, asserts that he made the claim of a Ksh 4 million bribe against a Supreme Court judge, based on client instructions, and that the judge returned the money to the person who had paid the bribe in two instalments. The senior counsel said on his X platform account that the recovery of bribe money is not a crime.
