National Public Health Institute is warning of a possible upsurge in malaria, dengue fever and cholera cases owing to erratic weather patterns and rising temperatures. This comes as Kenya says it will leverage on the new Community of Practice for Climate and Health alongside eight African countries to strengthen early-warning systems, surveillance, and resilience against climate-driven health threats.
