President William Ruto and Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja have formally agreed on a 'Shared Responsibility Formula' for managing critical departments in Nairobi. The move, which was hatched at State House, Nairobi, now sees the National Government render Garbage collection and disposal, Public Works, and Water supply, among other services to Nairobi residents. And as Seth Olale reports, a cabinet meeting held earlier at State House, Nairobi, endorsed a 4.7 trillion shillings budget for the 2026/27 financial year, representing a 410 billion jump from the current year's 4.29 trillion budget.
