Leaders allied to former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua have dismissed claims that Juja MP George Koimburi organized his abduction, saying those spreading the information are crazy. The leaders who spoke at Karen Hospital, where the legislator is reported to be receiving treatment, called out the Inspector General of police, Douglas Kanja, for allegedly targeting them for supporting Gachagua. The MP's alleged misconduct also came under attack in the national assembly as fellow MPs called for his prosecution.
