Treasury Principal Secretary Dr. Chris Kiptoo has confirmed that the government has fully disbursed capitation funds to public primary, junior and secondary schools. PS Kiptoo confirmed that all public schools had received their full capitation by May 19, 2025. The Treasury had allocated 54.6 billion shillings for free day secondary school, junior secondary school received 30.4 billion shillings, while free primary school received 8.4 billion shillings.
