Over 17,000 Kenyans today took part in the annual Mater Heart Run, a national fundraising event aimed at supporting children with heart conditions from underprivileged backgrounds. The run, now in its 23rd edition, was flagged off at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), uniting participants under a common goal, to give children a second chance at life through accessible heart treatment.
