Bill Gates: ‘I’ll be as loud as I can be’ on aid cuts - BBC Africa
Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates has told BBC Africa’s Waihiga Mwaura that he will speak out to the US government on aid cuts imposed by President Donald Trump. Mr Gates has been visiting the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, as he aims to strengthen collaboration between the Gates Foundation and the AU. He’s said that he will spend most of his $200 billion fortune on improving health and education in Africa as his foundation winds down its operations over the next twenty years.
