Over 2,900 households in Kwanza Constituency are set to benefit from a KSh 214 million rural electrification project which will be implemented by the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC). Speaking while he flagged off electrification materials at Kobos village in Kwanza Constituency , Trans Nzoia county , Energy PS Alex Wachira said that the exercise will cost 214 million shillings will mark a major milestone in efforts to eliminate energy poverty in rural Kenya. He said that the villages of Kobos kapchorwa , kobos sabwani and muguiywet will be the first to benefit.
