Four police officers charged in the Baby Pendo murder case have been freed on bail. Each of the four officers were granted a one million shillings bail. Each of the officers is also to provide two sureties of 500,000 shillings. The accused were also ordered not to interfere with witnesses or victims or tamper with evidence or visit the crime scenes. They have also been barred from leaving the court's jurisdiction and directed to attend all court sessions.The officers are accused of the murder of baby Samatha Pendo, who was fatally hit in 2017 as police were deployed to quell violence linked to post-election protests in the western city of Kisumu.The case will be mentioned on July 2nd
