KURA announces night traffic disruption on Ngong Road for flyover construction

The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced a temporary traffic disruption along Ngong Road near the Junction Mall area to facilitate the construction of a new flyover. The closure will run from Tuesday, November 18, to Wednesday, December 10, 2025, between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am daily, excluding Sundays. According to KURA, the night works will allow engineers to install a steel structure for the ongoing project, which aims to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow in Nairobi.
