A family in Shanzu, Mombasa County, is seeking financial support to help their kin undergo a lifesaving liver transplant. Abdullahi Wamboi, a six-month-old baby, was diagnosed with neonatal hepatitis, a serious liver condition that causes inflammation and damage to the liver in newborns and if untreated, can lead to liver failure. The family is now pleading with well-wishers to help them raise 4.8 million shillings needed for baby Abdullahi to undergo the lifesaving surgery.
