The endangered reticulated giraffe, also known as the Somali giraffe, is making a remarkable recovery in Northern Kenya, thanks to the efforts of local communities and conservation partners. But as their numbers grow, new threats are emerging. Once critically endangered and nearly wiped out, the reticulated giraffe, a species found mainly North of Kenya’s equator, is slowly bouncing back.
