The Ministry of Education has stepped up efforts to integrate green energy and climate-smart technologies into the country’s technical training institutions. In a bold move to prepare the youth for future jobs, the ministry in partnership with Schneider Electric has commissioned a state-of-the-art clean energy lab at Kabete National Polytechnic. TVET Secretary at the Ministry of Education Joseph Njau said the initiative is part of a national rollout targeting all 244 TVET institutions, aimed at equipping learners with skills in renewable energy and sustainable industrial technologies. Ben Chumba reports.
