Naivasha Member of Parliament Jane Kihara, who was arrested for offensive conduct, has been released on a personal bond of 50,000 shillings by a Milimani Magistrate’s Court. Kihara did not take plea after her lawyers objected to the charges by the DCI, arguing they were defective and unconstitutional. The Magistrate will rule on whether she should take plea to the charges in 10 days. More details in the court roundup.
