TEACHERS TAKE ON GOVERNMENT
Former Presidential Candidate and politician Dr. Reuben Kigame, along with teachers' union leaders from Nyandarua County, have taken on the government for its handling of the education sector.
The leaders stated that the government was taking the sector for granted, which they believed would negatively impact the future of many students and learners.
Speaking at Nyahururu JCM Church after a Sunday Service, Dr. Kigame noted that the government was playing games with teachers, noting the recent salary increase was meager and did not have an impact on their welfare. Kigame described this as “Conmanship” by the government, which should be called out.
