Woman in Kisii gives birth to quadruplets, names them Raila, Amolo, Odinga and Ida

Jubilant scenes unfolded at Nyanchwa Hospital in Kisii on Monday morning after a local woman safely delivered quadruplets — four babies born at once — in a rare and joyous event that has captured national attention. The mother, Vane Nyanchoka Ontweka, gave birth via caesarean section to three boys and one girl, all named after Kenya's late former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga and his wife, Ida Odinga. The three boys were named Raila, Amolo, and Odinga, while the baby girl was named Ida.
