Local innovators develop ‘Scream Room’ to help deal with emotions and stress

With the donor funding reducing, leaders in health sectors across Africa has been urged to start owning and building their own innovative methods to transform the health sector. CEO and co-founder, Vilgro Africa Wilfred Njagi said that if equipment are built in Africa, it will be cheaper and easy to maintain. Njagi said Africa has potential to innovate and market its product across the world. Among the innovations that was displayed in the conference was a scream room where people go and release their stress by screaming for 12 seconds. The conference was attended by various health stakeholders across Africa.
