Government unveils reforms to boost tea farmers’ earnings

Tea farmers will soon receive their bonuses every quarter instead of once a year. The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development says this change is part of reforms in the tea sector aimed at doubling farmers’ earnings to 100 shillings per kilogramme of green leaf by 2027.
