Kenya Institute of Special Education, KISE has renewed calls for stronger investment in assistive devices, early screening, and increased public awareness on disabilities. Speaking on Wednesday during an event to mark the International Day of Persons with Disability, KISE Director Dr Norman Kiogora further highlighted the need for the country to address rising cases of autism, the growing demand for assessment services, and the progress in implementing disability inclusion laws.
