A section of lawmakers in Laikipia County is pushing for the restoration of security on the borders with neighbouring counties, where cases of cattle theft are on the rise. Led by Laikipia East MP Mwangi Kiunjuri, the leaders stated that the volatility has left residents on the edge. Kiunjuri said the matter needs to be addressed once and for all.
