Media council condemns Gachagua for attacking journalists

The Media Council of Kenya (MCK) has condemned former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for what it termed as reckless and dangerous attacks on a journalist and the larger media fraternity during a public event on Wednesday. In a statement, McK warned that Gachagua’s remarks amount to intimidation and pose a serious threat to media freedom and the safety of journalists.
