Safina party rejects KSh244 B Safaricom sale to Vodacom

The Safina Party has sharply criticised the government’s plan to sell a 15 per cent stake in Safaricom to South Africa’s Vodacom, insisting that any divestment must give Kenyans, not foreign firms, direct ownership of the country’s most valuable company.
