    2025 Kenya National Commission on Human Rights report highlights worrying statistics on violations of rights to life, political rights and the right to freedom and security of a person. The report claims that a total of 57 lives were lost in extrajudicial killings in the last one year, with 661 complaints on violations of right to freedom and security of persons, among them 15 cases of abductions. The report also documented three killings in the just concluded by elections, with two people losing their lives in Kasipul while one person was killed in Kabuchai ward.
