President William Ruto has conferred awards, decorations and medals to over 879 distinguished individuals in recognition of their outstanding service to the nation. The ceremony held at the state house Nairobi, saw the individuals among them Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu of Narok , musician Iyani, Kenya Army Commander Lt Gen. Keter David Kipkemboi and sportsmen and women, being feted in the different categories, among them the elder of the golden heart, chief of the order of the burning spear and order of the grand warrior.
