The Private Security Guards Union, Secretary General Isaac Andabwa has issued a stern warning to employers who he accuses of exploiting guards and colluding with corrupt government officials to avoid compliance. Speaking in an interview with KBC channel 1 Andabwa says the exploitation of thousands of private security guards across the country has reached alarming levels, with many companies refusing to pay the government-prescribed minimum wage, while still making huge profits on the backs of low-paid workers.
