    President of the Kenya Dental Association, Kahura Mundia, has warned Kenyans against seeking dental services from unlicensed dentists following a spike in illegal dental operations, which are exposing thousands to harm. According to Dr Kahura, in October 2025 alone, the association received over 500 complaints, all of which were forwarded to the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
