President William Ruto has warned of stern action against those who are still in possession of illegal firearms, directing that they surrender them to the police or church leaders. While in Kerio Valley for an interdenominational thanksgiving for peace after years of banditry and cattle rustling conflicts, the Head of State said the government would use all resources at its disposal to ensure all illegal guns are surrendered back to the state.
