As Grade 10 students prepare to transit to Senior secondary schools across the country, a student from Mulaka village in Bukaya Ward, Mumias West Constituency, is uncertain whether her dream of continuing her education and becoming an orthopedist will be realized after a life-changing accident. Elizabeth Okune, a former pupil at Emuberi Primary School, fell from a tree in November 2024 while in Grade Eight and since then, she has been unable to walk and forced to school from home.
