Ruto woos Mt. Kenya, vows to fulfill pledges

President William Ruto returned to the mt Kenya region to woo the residents, saying his political relationship with the vote-rich region cannot be destroyed by mere propaganda from his opponents. While attending a church service in Othaya constituency, Nyeri county, President Ruto said the region will judge him on the ballot based on what he will have delivered for them by 2027. And as Stephen Leto reports, host governor Mutahi Kahiga stirred yet another debate as he confessed that he is still a bona fide UDA member despite his perceived dalliance with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's DCP party.
