Sifuna skips ODM's Central Management Committee meeting

The Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) will open negotiations with the ruling Party, the United Democratic Alliance(UDA) with the aim of forming a pre- election coalition with President William Ruto who will be seeking re-election. A central management committee meeting convened by Party Leader Oburu Oginga resolved that he commences the process of initiating structured negotiations with President Ruto’s party with the National Delegates Conference expected to ratify the decision once the process is complete. Once again, differences within the party played out as Secretary General Edwin Sifuna and one of the Deputy Party Leaders Godfrey Osotsi missed the meeting.
