Migori County is witnessing a quiet academic revival as formerly struggling secondary schools post strong gains in the latest KCSE results. Dede Girls Secondary School in Awendo recorded a mean score of 9.05, up from 7.0 last year, while Moi Nyatike Boys also registered improved performance after years of decline.
