A 28-year-old man from Embu County has completed a 90-hour tree-hugging craze to push for development in his area. Eric Munene from Ciambugu Village, Mbeere North, ended the challenge on Monday morning after enduring harsh weather, hunger and exhaustion, drawing cheers from hundreds of residents.
