JUSTICE AT THE DOOR STEP
Residents of Khwisero Constituency in Kakamega County have expressed relief following the operationalisation of the Khwisero Magistrate’s Court, which has now officially begun hearing cases. Before Magistrate Anjeline Odawo, suspects facing minor offences reported at Khwisero Police Station were formally charged, with some taking plea and being fined accordingly. Locals have welcomed the move, saying the court will help resolve minor disputes within the constituency, including land related cases, petty theft and domestic disagreements, in a timely and affordable manner.
