High Court issues orders to freeze 5 bank accounts for Governor Wamatangi

The High Court has issued orders to freeze five bank accounts belonging to Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi in an 813 million shillings corruption case. This follows a successful petition by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission that argues that the monies obtained by five companies belonging to Wamatangi are proceeds of crime. The injunction orders remain in force until 4th February 2026, when the matter will be heard in court for further directions, as Giverson Maina now reports.
