The Ministry of Health has launched the National Cervical Cancer Elimination plan 2026-2030, anchored on prevention through vaccination, timely screening and ensuring every diagnosed woman completes her treatment. Speaking during the National symposium in Nairobi, Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale disclosed that in Kenya,3500 cervical cancer deaths and nearly 6000 new cases are reported annually.
